We won’t need much for your first chat with Shunkwiler Financial. If you have recent account statements, tax returns or a budget, feel free to bring them. However, your goals and your questions are the most important things to share.
Your initial consultation with our team is complimentary. We use this time to get to know you and see if we are a good fit. If you decide to work with us, we will explain our fee structure clearly and transparently before you sign any paperwork.
For prospective clients, we offer 15-minute complimentary consultations done over the phone. Most initial in-person meetings last about an hour. This gives us enough time to discuss your current situation and your hopes for retirement. Follow-up meetings or planning sessions might take a bit longer, depending on your specific needs.
Our services and strategies work best for families with at least $500,000 in investible assets. However, we believe everyone deserves solid financial guidance, no matter where they start. While some specific investment strategies may have minimums, we welcome a conversation to see how we can help you build your pathway to a secure retirement.
We treat the first meeting like a friendly conversation. We will ask about your financial goals, your worries and what you want your retirement to look like. We will also share a bit about our firm and how we help people plan. There is no pressure or obligation to make any decisions right away, but if we decide to move forward together, we’ll schedule our second Pathway for Retirement™ visit.
Once you become a client, we typically schedule formal reviews once or twice a year to help you stay on track. We are also always available by phone or email whenever your life changes or you have a quick question.
